Pendleton a \u00e9t\u00e9 le foyer de la #10, \u00e9cole \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire de la formation de vol,\u00ab Elementary Flight Training School \u00bb jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de la guerre. Une plaque comm\u00e9morative a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9e par l\u2019association RCAF \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome en 2000 pour comm\u00e9morer le r\u00f4le de #10 EFTS et de l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome de Pendleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019achat de Pendleton par CVVG a faire un lien naturel entre l\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019or de la formation a\u00e9ronautique et l\u2019 Instruction de vol en planeur \u00e0 CVVG. Pendant des d\u00e9cennies, les pilotes ont appris \u00e0 voler, \u00e0 voler en planeur, et \u00e0 profiter de la camaraderie d\u2019individus \u00e0 l\u2019esprit de l\u2019aviation \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome de Pendleton. CVVG est la preuve vivante que voler n\u2019est pas seulement un passe-temps, mais une fa\u00e7on de regarder et de vivre la vie...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet esprit continue \u00e0 ce jour \u00e0 CVVG. Nous fournissons des locations des planeurs ainsi qu\u2019une formation de pilote de planeur primaire et avanc\u00e9 aux membres du club. Le fr\u00e8re de Brian, John Mendes, a \u00e9t\u00e9 stationn\u00e9 \u00e0 la #10 \u00e9cole \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire pour la formation de vol \u00ab Elementary Flight Training School (EFTS) \u00bb Pendleton entre 1944 et 1945.
