OUR SAFETY CULTURE

The process through which we continually manage safety related issues at GGC is described in the GGC Safety Management Manual which forms an integral part of our overall club operating procedures.

The objectives of our Safety Management System are :

GGC members are encouraged to report incidents or safety issues to any member of the GGC safety committee identified below. 2007 safety committee members are:

Ian Grant - Chief Flying Instructor (granti@igs.net)
Wolfgang Wiechert - Deputy CFI (wolfgang.weichert@magma.ca)

Additionally members can report incidents/issues using the "Black Book" which is kept in the flight shack throughout the flying season.
