The Gatineau Gliding Club is a non-profit volunteer run organization
dedicated to
promoting motorless flight in Canada. We have approximately 100 members
flying from Pendleton Aerodrome (CNF3 123.3MHz Unicom) located
approximately 50 km southeast of Ottawa, Ontario.
GGC was the first gliding club in Canada (founded in 1942) and
originally started flying from the
Gatineau hills, north of Ottawa. GGC provides a full spectrum of glider
flight training to it's members (solo to advanced cross country) with
some of the best clubhouse and hangar facilities of any gliding club in
North America.
